I’m over at Perdido Key all this week getting myself in shape for a weekend Triathlon, and enjoying the fact that most of the summer crowds are gone. The Gulf is still warm for swimming, and the cooler early morning weather makes a jog on the beach much easier. One thing I have noticed that hits right in the pocketbook. We have several family condos on the beach. Insurance costs are lower here than in Louisiana. Wonder why? Take a look and listen to my thoughts below.

as a house ins comm member i read with interest your florida story on homeowners rates. Please let me know why you believe this is happening. We are told that fla citizen’s is broke and that no new companies are coming into Fla.
