Edwin Edwards for President?

Did you know that former Louisiana Governor Edward Edwards gave some thoughts of running for president. That’s right. Against sitting president Jimmy Carter. He was one of several Louisiana Governors who had similar ambitions. In my final column about Edwin Edwards, I pass on a personal experience that  led me to believe Edwards was seriously considering running for president.
