Here comes the weekend, and we have a full agenda scheduled coving many of the key topics in the news worldwide. We will continue with the idea that all men are created equal is a founding principle of the United States. So, is the belief in American exceptionalism inherently contradictory ““ or even dangerous?  Russian President Vladimir Putin apparently thinks so; in his recent New York Times op-ed piece he wrote that American exceptionalism is “extremely dangerous” and that “we must not forget that God created us equal.”Â  My first guest will be Wade Fransson, author of “The People of the Sign,”  a memoir recounting his life with the Worldwide Church of God, a once prosperous church whose members saw themselves as divinely exceptional. Then, our old friend and nationally acclaimed writer Alan Topol will join us to discuss is latest international thriller, THE RUSSIAN END GAME.  Allan has also been speaking out a good bit on the Syrian conflict, and just what America’s role should be. Finally, one of the most bizarre the escapes from a federal prison happened right here in my home state Louisiana.  Author Byron Christopher’s book, The Man Who Mailed Himself Out of Jail, is about a killer and escape-artist Richard Lee McNair.  How was he able to escape from a federal penitentiary?  We will find out.  More on the book by Clicking Here.  So be sure and tune in for a lively weekend radio show.
