My Choices at Wimbledon Didn’t Pan Out!

Well, what can I say? Those of you who follow my site regularly know that I consider myself somewhat of a sports expert. But I didn’t do too well at Wimbledon this past weekend. First, it was Maria Sharapova. I really thought this is her year. And I had taught her everything I know about tennis. She was knocked out in the early rounds.

But then, I thought, well the new kids are taking over. And oh yes. I had worked hard with German newcomer Sabine Lisicki. Hey, she made it to the finals, and I was pumped. But, after a valiant effort, she lost. Oh well. I’ll look for my next prodigy for next year. Actually, I met both of these to the stars down at the Bollettieri tennis facilities in Bradenton, Florida. I have know Nick Bollettieri over the years, and he is always nice enough to let me pay a visit, and stay in touch with some of his star  athletes. This is an annual trip I take for spring baseball, and a little work out at the Bollettieri facility. See you next year, Nick.
