I have not witnessed such a soul searching and intense debate over anything so controversial since the aftermath of 9/11. The terrible tragedy in a small Connecticut town has brought our country to tears, anger and frustration. And there are no easy answers. But at least there seems to be a new climate for the beginnings of a serious debate. No, we don’t want to give up our guns, at least in my part of the country. But is there a middle ground? Let’s hope so. My column, now posted, takes a look at the present climate for compassion and logical thinking. You can read it now by Clicking Here or by going to the Flashing Red Box above.
