Special Heroes

There have been a lot of disappointing former heroes recently.   So many of our sports stars have been tainted with drug allegations.  Movie stars seem to always get into some kind of trouble.  Look what’s happened to one of my favorites-David Letterman.  So who are the real heroes that help us carry on in our daily lives.  Of course, our military throughout the world.  But I’ve singled out some “special” people who I think really deserve the title- “Hero.”Â  I talked about this very subject of a recent radio show.  Take a look and see if you agree with me.  Below also is such a special person, my cardiologist, Dr. Carl Luikart keeping an eye on me last week during my treadmill test.
