Regular readers of this site know that I’m a die hard basketball fan. I walked out of a dinner party this past Tuesday evening so I could go home and watch the UNC- Kentucky game on television. I am a real Tar Heel fan since my days at Carolina in the early 60s. (Sports trivia question — who was UNC’s legendary basketball coach Dean Smith’s first recruit? Go to the boxes on the left, hit “press comments”, and click on article 1.) And whatever you think of Pres. Barack Obama, he still is quite a basketball player.
