My Man, Billy Joe comes to Town

I’ve been a Billy Joe Royal fan for as long back as I can remember. That gives you some idea as to how old he is. He has some great old songs including Out in the Boondocks, Cherry Hill Park and I Knew you when you were Lonely. Billy Joe is aging a bit, and spends more time at home in Morehead Beach, North Carolina, one of my favorite stomps. We visited last weekend at his concert at the Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge,and I haven’t missed a local concert of his in years.
