The Louisiana Governor and Legislature seem to be in free fall as they continue hollering that the fiscal sky is falling. The state is busted, and may have to shutdown many programs. But how serious is the financial problem, and how much is generally political hype? The state income keeps going up at a rapid rate. The state is losing population. So what’s the problem.
