Louisiana’s governor had a rocky beginning during his first year in office. He was stunned by this financial crisis faced by the state, had to  deal with flooding issues as well as killings that rocked the nation. Now he starts off in 2017 with a  budget deficit of some $300 million. And it’s  time to start thinking about re-election. What to do! What to do! The Governor needs to start cracking, and there’s some options out there for him, even though he’s the lone Democrat in an overwhelmingly Republican state.
