LOUISIANA TO THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT- LEAVE OLD HICKORY ALONE!

There is a major push to put a woman on the face of paper money. Good idea, but some current face will have to be removed. I make the argument in this week’s column that President Andrew Jackson should stay on the twenty-dollar bill. If you happen to live in Louisiana, then there is even a stronger case for Jackson’s image to stay, as he played a vital role in saving New Orleans and the Bayou State from being taken over by the British.
