Much of the nation was mesmerized by the Lindsey Clancy trial; the woman that strangled her three children. Her defense wanted an 11 member jury to decide. The judge said no. Unfortunately, this strong judicial commitment is often not found in Louisiana. I compare this trial to the Edwin Edwards trial in this week’s column.
