Well, it’s always time to stir up something to eat with Louisiana ingredients. Cooking our wild game is a way of life down in the Bayou state. So what are some of the choices? How about cooking yourself up a raccoon stew? That’s right. Lots of people eat a raccoon in the deepest of the deep southern states. But it’s become a little controversial with recent statements from our US senator. I write about the enjoyment of raccoons, and a former governor who founded his favorite delicacy in my new column.
