Mega country music singing star Garth Brooks is certainly a national treasure. But it’s hard to top the thousands of fans that packed LSU tiger stadium this past Saturday night. It was a Garth Brooks weekend with diehard fans traveling from hundreds of miles just to see the king of country music. He wasn’t always so popular. I have a personal story to tell about the first time I heard Garth Brooks, and about being the only person to pay attention to her singing.
