The Passing of Louisiana’s Longest Serving Governor!

Former Louisiana governor Edwin Edwards passed away this week. He was the state’s longest serving governor, having been elected four times to the state’s highest position. He was both loved and criticized, but no one can doubt he left an indelible mark on the state’s political history. I had a 50 year relationship with Governor Edwards, where we both worked together and ran against each other. But we remained friends throughout these many years.
