When it comes to operating the congress in the nation’s capitol, one would think that we were still in the horse and buggy days. Members of congress spend half their time flying back and forth from their home districts to Washington, D.C. And often it’s for routine matters and non-controversial committee hearings. We can do so many things virtually form banking to purchasing online. Why can’t the congress act, in some limited way, remotely and spend more time in their congressional districts?
