It’s reapportionment time again. Under federal law, every 10 years each state must reapportion it’s state legislature. But the process is fixed. Legislators protect their own interest by drawing district lines to favor their own reelection. A direct conflict of the public interest. Instead of voters choosing their legislators, it’s the legislators that are picking the voters. That process just doesn’t pass the smell test.
