A day does not go by we don’t here political parties and political opponents calling each other liars. That certainly is true here in my home state of Louisiana. Calling someone a liar is almost a political way of life. And it’s been a lot more prevalent on the state level than on the national level, where civility used to be in place but is now gone by the wayside.
