WHO’S THE REAL JACKASS IN LOUISIANA?

If you try to list American heroes that had a profound effect on the saving of Louisiana during the early years of this country, two statesmen at top the list would be Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson. Jefferson negotiated the Louisiana Purchase from the French, and Jackson saved the state at the Battle of New Orleans. Jackson and Jefferson were instrumental in forming the Democratic Party.
