Not a Good Hot Dog!

So I’ve been hearing for years about the Varsity Drive-In located in downtown Atlanta right across from Georgia Tech University. They supposedly have the best hot dogs in the country, and people come from all over to give them a try. They have a two-story parking lot with drive in service. It apparently is the “in thing to do” for many in Atlanta. So I came through there this past Friday, and thought I would give the Varsity try. What a disappointment. It was a boiled weenie with not a lot of taste. I had asked for relish and onions, and was handed them wrapped in a napkin. The French fries were soggy, and couldn’t compare to the average drive-in like McDonald’s or Wendy’s. All in all, it was a waste of time. The worst hot dogs in America are at LSU’s Tiger stadium. But the second-worst have to be the varsity. That’s just my opinion. I wouldn’t waste your time going there.
