Folks down in the Bayou State just finished a knockdown, drag out gubernatorial election. Most voters want to breathe a sigh of relief, and have a have a little break in the election cycle. But that’s not to be. It’s presidential election year including a long list of local and statewide elections to be considered. In my column this week, I raise the question of why we have so many elections in Louisiana. Â Also, the state really missed a great opportunity to be the first primary state in the nation.
