When you live down here in my part of the country, Mardi Gras is embedded in your way of life. It goes on for weeks, but the big day is Fat Tuesday (March 8th this year). Unfortunately, the weather was a real bump. Cold and wet that kept thousands of revelers at home. You can see the sparse crowds and the clean up when they roll the streets up at midnight. But we will be back next year. Time now for the Lenten season.
