Fifty Years!  It just doesn’t seem that long ago that the 34th president was assassinated in Dallas Texas.  John F. Kennedy had captured the hearts of an overwhelming majority of the American people. But then the walls came crashing down.  He was assassinated in Dallas, but during both the good times and the bad, my home state of Louisiana held a special place, and coveted a special role in the life of John Kennedy.  Take a look at my new column, now posted, where I look back at the special “Louisiana connection,”  JFK had with the Bayou State.  And take a look at the videos below to bring back the stark memories.  You can read my new column by going to the Flashing Red Box above, or by Clicking Here.
