Weekend Radio Schedule!

Radio weekend show time is here and we have a jam-packed agenda scheduled for the weekend.  How about my man Smokey Robinson?  He played to a sold out house at the L’auberge Resort here in Baton Rouge, and simply brought down the house with his easy listening, melodic old standers that all of us remember.  Smokey is 73 and still going strong.  He will join us to discuss his staying power in the music business and how it all started.

Then we will discuss a new study that raises questions about the effectiveness of fish oil supplements. Is it really all that good for your heart?  Our guest will be Dr. Jay Udani, who will analyze the most recent studies. Now a lot of people, including me, regularly take fish oil. What’s going on?  Then we will follow with the Iheese Impresario, our old friend Barrie Lynn.

 

Finally, do you understand leprosy and how one gets it?  How is it treated?  There is a lot of misunderstanding, and we will be joined by researcher and author Claire Manus to talk about her new book: “Out of the shadow of Leprosy.”  You  can read more about her book by Clicking Here. So there’s a lot to talk about, and we sure hope you will check your local listings for time and stations.
