Can you remember back to the days when Democrats and Republicans could differ in their approach to problem solving in Washington, but still get a long, and socialize when the sun went down? No longer today. When we think of cooperation in the nations’ capitol, we look back to Ronald Regan and his relationship with Democrats like House Speaker Tip O’Neill. He said he just couldn’t help not liking Republicans like Reagan, and although they differed on many issues, they often were able to get things done. He is a funny video of the President and the Speaker enjoying a night at Ford’s Theater with a funny comedian, Michael Davis.
