Does God Go too far in Genesis?

 Did you watch the much-hyped, The Bible miniseries on the History Channel. There sure was a lot to cover, and there are  only 10 episodes hours.  So it was like watching the Bible’s greatest hits, a series of theme-park tableaus of one disaster after another.  Oh,I’ll watch again this Sunday.  But here’s my problem.   I’m having a really hard time accepting that a loving God would take Abraham, the father of all civilization, and put him to the test.  You know”¦.tell him to go kill his only son.  Say what?  Yes I have a problem with that.  Take a look at my new column now posted, and see if you agree or disagree with my reasoning.  You can read the column now by going to the Flashing Red Box above, or by  Clicking Here.
