“Odyssey of a Derelict Gunslinger: A Saga of Exposing TV Preachers, Corrupt Politicians, Right-Wing Lunatics…and Me.” Quite a book title. It’s a new book by Louisiana news reporter John Camp, who now lives in St. Francisville. He was an investigative reporter for CNN and has followed many Louisiana scandals, including Rev. Jimmy Swaggart and the strange and predictable murder of Baton Rouge drug runner Barry Seale. The Seale case had both natonal and international repercussions, and you can see john Camp’s story on Seale also below.
