As anyone who regularly follows my website knows, I am an unabashed country music fan. And it should not be surprising. After all, I lived in Ferriday, Louisiana for a number of years, and got to know all the musical legends there including Jerry Lee Lewis, Reverend Jimmy Swaggart, and of course, my longtime friend, country music singer of the year Mickey Gilly. Mickey and I are pictured below along with current La. Secretary of State Jay Dardenne as we all dedicated a country music museum in Ferriday this past May. But take a moment to watch the video below if you want to hear the latest country song that will really grab your heart. It’s worth a view.
